Prototype 1: Introducing the first SV650S on youtube with a GP style pipe and removable baffle. Loud but with a lower pitch than an open straight pipe or without mufflers. The baffle puts back the back pressure that you would normally lose on an open straight pipe or without mufflers. But it doesn’t take away from the loudness. It also enhances that low pitch rumble. Giving it a cruiser like sound…

The Bandit is WAY too standard, so to kick things off, i decided to make some mods to the exhaust, the usualy trick is to shorten, or “stubby”, the can, but its easy to copy other people, and i like to be different, so going to run the bike with NO CAN AT ALL… which means i need to make a curved, cone shaped baffle to stop it breaking shop windows in the high street, and keep the rozzers happy…..

2004 suzuki katana 600 (gsx600f) custom turn down pipe

Here is the custom turn down shorty pipe I had made by the local muffler shop in town. It has a 45 degree bend down and chopped at an angle for a more aggressive look. They did a fantastic job at the bending and fitting of the pipe to clear the center stand as well. There are no baffles, no packing nothing just a pipe.
